I think your taking his words to literally and some of the interview has been lost in translation.

I speak Spanish and I really dont think what he said could have been 'lost' in translation. I'd like to see the Spanish quotes themselves if someone could dig them out.

No, I just don't think Barca want him....The papers just used his quotes and made up a story about a 16mil move imo. Can't see him going to Madrid, I can see him staying here for a coule more season before moving*......

He could say "Barcelona is a ****ing dump, every person there is scum and all their players are complete *****" and you'd still say "I wouldnt rule it out just yet"

I speak Spanish to and from the wording in the article I think some of the pharasing has been taken to literally.

I guess we'll find out in due course. If he wants to go then thanks for everything and good luck if he signs a new deal then great. No player is bigger than the club. The same goes for Rafa if he wants out to go a manage Madrid then thanks for the memories if not then great.

1) To get in better players
2) Because we already have too many players in that position.
3) They want out.

Those are the only 3 reason I can think of.
