I feel sorry for any Irish Reds...

...because you have to listen to pundits like this.

Amazingly biased views. 'Gerrard is a nobody', 'Alonso: non-existant'. WTF???

I knew that fella Dunphy was a bitter twisted old man but I didn't realise it was this bad.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all.

My son Foster is a fan of soccer. He was a goaltender. His brother was a defenseman.

When I lived in Dublin (1999-2001) I often listened to Dunphy the numpty. The guy is a total arse and feeds off negativity. The fecker never has anything constructive to say about anything. I am surprised at Brady's comments though.

Gerrard IS world class and anything this half wit says to the contrary should be treated with the contempt it deserves. :whatever:

    Happy St Patricks day all!

The way he says 'I can't believe that Liverpool fans would accept that sort of performance' :whatever:

Well I can tell you Mr Dunphy, I was there and funnily enough I can accept us beating the European Champions on away goals. Sorry about that.

I think the link on your sig sums it up nicely. I have heard Andy Gray use that comment 'Take a bow Son.' before however :P

I think that Dunphy fella is insane. Brady was talking bollocks as well. At least Johnny Giles talks a bit of common sense.

I've got a lot of respect for Giles as a pundit

Dunphy is to me always trying to be a bit of a sensationalist - I can remember him saying that Maradona was not a great player in 1986 - because he didn't pass the ball after he scored that goal against England in the World Cup

hats one thing I thught i'd never read, how could anyone say such an absurd thing. I guess it's just his way, be controversial and it will pay off financially.
I agree about Giles, 99% of the time he talks a great deal of sense.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

              * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

He was "ghost writer" for Roy Keanes book.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

Even though I'm half pissed I know for sure I haven't read a book about Keane
He must have written other books!!
His comments in the studio are out of this world - it becomes laughable when people try to be controversial just for the sake of being controversial...

                            - just found which book I've read - "Only a game"...
I haven't heard much from and about this guy but oh my God do I just hate him!!
I actually tend to believe that too many Liverpool fans are way too childish when they see a big conspiracy in every expert's critical opionion (we beat Barca - but we DON'T play better football than them) but this Dunphy is over the top!!!

He is over the top, but very few people take him seriously.
He's on TV (and writes in The Star) coz he gets viewers and readers.
