Should have been made England manager. He uses what he has got and Bolton have got better and better under him. His sides usually do quite well to against the top sides. Tatically aware and very innovative.

If Rafa went its about time we got a top British coach in again.
Ar you serious?? I am scouring your post for a smily!!

We seriously do not want a british coach, apart from maybe roy hodgson

I am afraid I am serious yes!

If Rafa left do you really want to wait another 5 years for another foreign coach to adapt to the English league?

Wonders at sunderland.....since quinny came in they have been the Chelsea of that division, pay a fortune in wages and he has called a few of his old ireland buddies up who have flourished in that league

The step up to Top manager with worldwide network of knowledge is way off for keane. Its rubbish that he has done wonders. Sunderland were a dying club and quinn/keane came in at the right time with loads of money

Plenty of teams have splashed the cash in that division with little or no results. Derby and Birmingham have spent just as much or more than Sunderland. When Keane took ove they were in the bottom 3, and couldnt spend cash until January! Hes a long way of like you say, but hes done a great job.

Sam Allardyce as manager of LFC would be my worst nightmare.
I would have to stop watching us until he got sacked.

My guess is you say this due to the style of play. He plays to his teams strenghs. Youll notice that as the seasons have gone by Bolton have played more and more passing football. This is because the quality of players they have has improved. If Bolton played a pass and move style against LFC and other top clubs, theyd get mullered, so they adopt a style which gives them a chance of winning.

Hes a decent bloke to and doesnt come out with a pack of lies like many other top flight managers either.

Oh, I don't there is even any point of me joining in this debate.
I can't stand him for several reasons.
                      Opinions and all that.

I like usually like your posts though.

Fair enough! I guess its like saying which signings you want, there is no answer until you have been proved right or wrong. I doubt Allardyce would get the job so you can rest easy in that sense.

My second choice would be Capello if he could learn English.

I agree, it would be hell.

If Rafa does leave, I'm sure we'll get a massive name with a **** load of experience though.

Hiddink, Capello, Lippi and Mourinho would all be in the frame.

I'm not sure that he came out of that bung documentary smelling of roses even though the programme and the investigation was badly flawed.
