        It was only a matter of time.

        Like I said, Busby, while a good player (by all accounts ), was of nowhere near the stature of Keane for United. Also, the rivalry is more intense now. Back then the two clubs had a decent relationship.

        Not the case anymore.

          You're all missing the obvious choice for our next manager......bring ex Dudnee United legend Jim McLean out of retirement.

          The team might play **** but the post match interviews would be worth watching.

            I really like Alladyce as a coach, but he has failed to take Bolton on this season. He was given the money to buy Anelka and he seemed to want to bring a bit of variety to his sides play, but it hasn't worked. They have had a poor second half of the season. I think there is a big question mark over him in terms of being a top quality coach. To dispell it he might need to move to a team where he has more resources but whoever we would bring in after Rafa would need to hit the ground running and I don't think Sam is that man.

            He should have been England coach. The bungs expose has ended all chances of that now though I think.

                    In the 60s & early 70s, we stood side-by-side with the BS & the scum, walked to the matches together, just wanting to watch football, it really didn't matter where you were standing inside the ground, no-one cared which team you supported, footy was the main spectacle.

                        It's only since the hooligan elements infiltrated football (mid 70s) has real animosity and hatred of each other grown to beyond reality, and only since the mids 80s has the brotherhood of scousers been just as vitriolic (since they started supported the scum in our cup finals of the late to mid 80s)

                          Roy Keane or Fat Sam? Jesus, I don't know which suggestion is worse. I wouldn't let either of them anywhere near our club.
