It's the short corners which get me, they never result in nothing. Further why can't we go direct at goal with free kicks around the box? I am so tired watching the ball the getting pushed to the side for either Gerrard or Riise to smash. Surely we have players with the ability to go direct.

Our set pieces are rubbish. Both Pennant and Aurelio are better than Gerrard at corners but seem to have to play second fiddle.
On a more general noth whatever happen to the Arsenal patented front post flick on corner routine? A bit of variety like that might help and importantly Gerrard wouldn't have to get the ball past the near post
