    Fowler

    Fat, unfit, slow and disinterested.

On for ten minutes, didn't touch the ball then...BANG...he suddenly comes into life. Very unlucky with the header, I've just seen the replay, unbelievable save from their 'keeper. That's what you get with Fowler, he's a natural goal threat always has been, always will be.

We've got far too many 'workers' in this current squad and not enough 'luxury' players. I'd find a way to accomodate Fowler.

I really feel that if Rafa had given Robbie 10-15 starts this season he would have easily outscored the like of Crouch, Kuyt and Bellamy. I'd start Fowler against Arsenal in our next game.

I agree with you mate. He did more to try and score then Bellamy and Kuyt did in 80/90 minutes.

I thi8nk he has scored something like 12 goals in 16 starts since he came back so I guess it backs up your argument. I dont think he is fat though. I wish i was only as fat as him!!

He needs the service though, something we can't give him.

He's not a "Rafa player" so I think he'll be binned.

If he'd have played this season anywhere near the amount of minutes the other three have had, then he'd probably be on 20 goals by now.

Out of our four strikers, I know who I'd rather have on the end of our crosses/corners/passes that end up in our opponents box. Might not be as fit as he used to, but at least the boy knows what a goal is.

A lot of things would be different if Robbie played more. Yes, he isn't a player he once was, but ffs, he's always in the right place at the right time - pure class.

Kuyt is a worker and he is outside of the penalty box for 99% of the match (which is totally unacceptable for a striker), bellers is quick but rarely scores, crouch is slow as fcuk and can't hit a goal with his head...

Give Robbie a chance and he'll bring the goods.

No-one loved Fowler more than me 10 years ago but unfortunately he does not have enough to play in the premiership week in week out.
It's sad but true. Time for him to retire or pack his bags for USA.

Can he do any worse than Kuyt though ?

I'd play FOWLER against the arse just for the fact that he scored more goals against them than any other team he faced, bar Villa probably.

                        IMo. No.
Kuyt needs time on the bench.
Fowler needs to get a game as he will get into scoring positions.

I'm getting really bored by our "hard working" players.

Yes, if he has no energy. He'll be caught off side all the time or just not up with play.
We need quick incisive passing and quick movement from our players. Fowler can't offer that anymore, he's still got all the talent in the world but he's never going to be sharp enough. The game has moved on and Robbie has been left behind. He could have one good game but he'd be shattered for the next one.
Had it not been for the injuries then he would still be a world beater, but he's finished at this level.

He scored the most goals against Villa - 14.
