Would you rather play pretty football like the Arse and have nothing to play for in March?

They beat them 4-1, we beat them 3-0...

Positive criticism is fine but some of the comments on here this afternoon and this evening have been embarrassing and something I would only expect from fans of a small club like Everton...
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

It's not the owners fault but these adverts have caused no end of problems.
      Just done a months worth.

      70 quid, is that right.

Should help stop the ads for a bit

Only fair as I do spend a bit of time on here

Just thought it would help out with the current ad problem. Plenty of others have done it though so it's no big deal.

How much had you intended to donate?
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

99p, less tax relief as he'll claim it as a donation to charity.

                              so, back to topic.

Rafa has had 3 seasons in the EPL. He has done fantastically in Europe and quite well in the league. He hasn't had as much money to spend as Houllier, who did neglect the youth / academy set-up, something which Rafa and his regime are trying to put right.

I feel that the problem is two fold. Firstly, we are still developing the 'strength in depth' that Chelski and Man Ure possess. Secondly, we cannot spend £20+ million on a player who can 'make the difference' and score a goal when it's needed, the way that the Mancs and Chavs can. Respect to Wenger in this - he bought Hentry on the cheap and has brought young players through very effectively - but how long has he been at Arsenal now and who - us or them - have been more successful ?

Give Rafa a chance - particularly as it now appears we can genuinely compete in the transfer market next year

We've done very poorly in the league under Rafa.
