After the Villa game today, I was sorting through my pile of various Liverpool shirts and I came across my blag Champions League final shirt.

It has 3 e's in the Reeebok and it also has number 10 and Luis Garcia on the back.

Remember him? Unconventional, unpredictable, frustrating at times but always with the potential to win you a game in the blink of an eye.

Heaven forbid, I think we might be missing the little Spaniard!

Anyone agree or have I just had too much rioja with me tea....................?

Seriously, he always been one of my favourite players due to the quality (and reasonable quantity) of his goal output and I have said for the last 5 or 6 that we have missed him big time.

Hope he gets well soon but we won't see him until next season I guess.

He can be frustrating as well but he's also a genuine matchwinner and we don't have many of them apart from an on-song Gerrard.

Yes he has his flaws but I think Garcia is quality, especially when he plays just off the front man.

Read the other posts that seemed to descend into the usual slagging match. Call Garcia whatever you want but he has that creative spark that we have missed big time over the last few games. I reckon he could have won us a few more points.
