    Chelsea or Sheffield

    Tomorrow or next weekend?

Which is most important to you?

To start the season by smiting the 'dark side' or a good old fashioned 3 points against Warnock's ******s?

    Well?

For me... I couldn't resist the opportunity to see us really outplay and comfortably beat Chelsea.

I'm a little, little, little man.

    Next week. Premiership contenders hopefully

Although it would be great beating the moron and his team, the charity shield in itself, is a glorified friendly.

I want to win the Charity shield more
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

I want to win both! And I think we will.

Bramall Lane will be more important to me though. A good start is absolutely imperative and, although tomorrow will seem important at the time, by the time we're into September it'll be a meaningless memory.

Sheff U for me, last season we had a poor start to the season which all but took us out the title race at a early stage so it is vital for us to get 3 points against them and put the pressure on our rivals.

Sheffield United for me by a mile...

The Chelsea game is no more than an "important preparation game" in my opinion...

Our main priority should be the Premiership this season and every league game should be treated as a Cup Final given the competition this year.

The sous chef at work is a Chavski fan and I am working with him on Monday and really want to rub it in.

I know what the Sheffield people are saying ....

                But...

What if it was a case of stuffing them? I mean really outplaying them and putting a few past them?

I'd find that sooooooo hard to say no to.

Me too. I can totally understand both arguments. What's wrong with wanting to stuff them 3-0 tomorrow and winning by any score in Sheffield?!

Short term, the prospect of whipping Chelsea is irresistible but long term it's obviously next week.

next week is more important. despite wanting to win tomorrow it is a nothing game. a good start in the premiership is more important. we have to play the other 3 of the big 4 away before november so the points on the board is more important for me.
