Geremi would bring plenty to the squad. He has bags of ability and experience. Still only 28?? I can't believe it. Seems asthough he's been around for ages.

Just 'cos he sits on the bench at the Chavs means nothing. SWP does the same thing, but we'd take him in a heart beat.

Maybe we are not only looking at Geremi to fill a position (lets face it, Dani Alves is looking less & less a possibility every passing minute - Sevilla look like a bunch of ****s to deal with), but also to accomodate another potential signing.........Eto'o?.............

I would be gutted if we went for Geremi in the summer, not what we need at all. He impressed me while at Boro but has stagnated at Chelsea, we shouldn't be filling out the squad with this type of signing.

I agree. He is surplus to requirements at stamford bridge and buying him isnt really going to help close the gap!

I doubt that there is any truth in the Geremi link - but on a free at 28 we could make money on him after a year or use him as a part exchange. Rafa seems to see deals like Kromkamp as opportunites to wheel and deal
