    Schuster to Real.

Real Madrid president chooses Getafe coach Schuster
    tribalfooball.com - March 22, 2007

Getafe coach Bernd Schuster has agreed to move to Real Madrid at the end of this season.

AS says Real president Ramon Calderon has met with the German and verbally agreed to the deal. Getafe will receive £700,000 in compensation.

Schuster has already informed close friends of the agreement and admits he is excited by the prospect of returning to Madrid. He will succeed Fabio Capello at the Santiago Bernabeu and is convinced Real's young team are on the brink of great things after a troubled season.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Does anyone know why the Seville coach has not been linked? Thought he would be the "one" in Spain with what he has done for the last 2 seasons

Interesting move. Schuster caused outrage when he left Barcelona (who he played for for 8 years) to go and play for Real in 1988.

I think this story is true and it will only make relations between Barca and Real more frosty.

As for Mourinho, he ain't going anywhere.

Sacking Capello after he had to work in them conditions is a joke, he is a proven manager and needs more time, he could still win La Liga yet.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs
