Well if you believe the papers mentioning the pay as you play deals then surely we could offer him less than that to secure his signature. And if that wasnt the case and he was only interested in the money then no one would mourn his loss.
    Forwards.......

Even if that was the case, the manager - at some point - would be relying on him to play, and perform no less.

Since when has he been able to do either for a period of time since he was signed?

A play as you pay deal is purely an admission that he can't play as often as we need him.

A pay as you play deal is one where you arent sure yes, but Im pretty certain that he will be over his injuries after this long lay off.

I'd only take the gamble as there is no better available LW than Kewell.

Being the best winger at Liverpool Football Club last year isn't hard to do. Just being a winger probably sufficed. I don't agree that he was one of our best players last season. I don't rate him.

I actually don't care whether he stays or not.

But one thing is for certain, we can never depend on Kewell as he's simply far too injury prone.

                    Was, was & was.

It's not about was, it's about the future and who can be, and does HK himself & Rafa actually believe that he can be the answer and be the player everyone expects him to be? Who knows, but I have my doubts that he will ever be the answer again at anytime in the next year or so.

Darren Anderton/Jamie Redknapp material more like than that of Ryan Giggs, early retirement on the cards.

Kewell was a great player but that was seasons ago, long before he came to LFC. Lets face it, he's been very poor since he came. On top of that he's a lazy so & so, only puts the effort in when he feels like it.

Kewell's back, I'd rather play Sheree at LM than Harry. Sooner he's sold, or should that be, given away, the better.

Kewell works his socks off in every game, not nine out of ten games, he works his socks off in every game.

He has played through the pain so many times for us just to help the team and still gets critized for doing that.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If he was horrible then Rafa wouldn't have played him in more or less every game.

He didn't have much of a choice though. It's not as if we're gifted with left sided midfielders.

It was either that or play Cisse.

Of course Kewell isn't a bad player. Unfortunately for us the majority of his performances have been mediocre.

On his current salary we are right to expect more.
