How people can pass a worthwhile comment on London if they don't actually live there is beyond me. London is a sprawling monster of a place. Most Londoners haven't and will never see all of it.
London is a great place if you know where to go, as I suspect the likes of Liverpool is.

hehe I am not Mexican and have never lived there. I have visited. The resorts are beautiful as you would expect, but wanting to see more I ventured into the surrounding villages. It's a third world country in most respects, absolutely shocking living conditions, and made me feel ashamed for staying in the resort. It is really beautiful, I was in Cabo San Lucas, the beaches are amazing.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostI think Mexico is a beautiful country.

Ron Mexico is an alias that Michael Vick uses, people are banned from getting the name Ron Mexico on their shirts by the NFL. It's a funny story involving lies and herpes. Look up Ron Mexico on wiki
But you are right, the grass is almost always greener on the other side

It's a tremendous city with an incredible amount of history and an endless amount of things to do and places to go.
But, on the flipside and in my many experiences, the commuter rush and people's general conduct in the street is dreadful. The whole ****ing place needs to slooooooowwwwww dooooooowwwwwwwwwn. And get some communal manners while they're at it.
It's also ****ing filthy. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I suspect it has the same feel as NYC, a city I've spent a good deal of time in. It stinks of garbage and the people are rude and up their own arses but it grows on you after awhile. Everyone walks around with a face on and you never meet anyone worthwhile in the street. But there are so many things to do and interesting people to meet.
What I like about large cities are the endless possibilities, the crowds and general attitude of the people don't really get to me, it comes with the territory.
Anyway it's only for 6 months, I'm going to as many shows as possible
Tho probably not the Monkeys
I got tickets to see them in Atlanta for $26
