What will it be like when we win the title?

Will it be the most satisfying of them all saying as it's been 16 long(too feckin long but anyway) and depressing years in terms of challenging for the league title?

It'll be my first time seeing us win the Prem and to be honest i can't begin to imagine the feeling of seeing Gerrard, Carra and co parading the Premiership around Anfield/New Stadium.
Feck me, it would be something else.

truth is when we do finally win it we won't get any credit anyway. we never do ( see CL victory, lucky vs barca, lucky vs west ham, " you only had 2 shot on goal vs ars 2001" etc) it still amazes me how many people ****ing hate us. still when it does happen we'll give the nation another lesson in how to win with a bit of class. am i alone in thinking sucess is wasted on chelsea or is it jealousy??

truth is, when we win it we won't get a fraction of the credit deserved. we never do (see lucky CL victory, lucky vs barca, lucky vs west ham, 2 shots on goal vs ars 2001 etc) it never ceases to amaze me how disliked we are. still when it does finally arrive we will, yet again, give the whole country a lesson in how to win with a bit of ****ing grace and dignity.

Yup, they will no doubt suggest we have bought it the year that we win it, it's how we react to the negatives that will set us apart, and then go on to retain it which will be the sweetest thing I can think of, maybe then we can get recognition by having say 2 stars above the crest, 1 for each 10 titles.

Agree AA, Istanbul was indeed a miracle, a once in a lifetime sorta event.
The League...it's over 38 games and we've been ridiculously far away from winning it since 1990, simply not good enough for a club of this stature.

Next season we must pull out all the stops in the league, no two ways
about it.

It feels like there is a massive weight on our shoulders.

17 years without the title.

The scum went 26 - or was it 27? - years without winning the league from 1967 - so don't panic. Winning the European Cup for the first time in 1977 (I was there of course) far outweighs winning another league title as the greatest moment in the club's history.

I was spoiled by how much we won when I was a kid, I got into watching LFC about 1979, so it was many years before I found out what it was like not to be seeing the title most Mays.
