    Klose?

Liverpool join Arsenal interest for Klose
    tribalfooball.com - March 26, 2007

A host of Premiership clubs are chasing Werder Bremen striker Miroslav Klose.

The Daily Mail says Werder Bremen are second in the Bundesliga and are in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup but the 28-year-old fancies a fresh challenge.

That will alert Liverpool and Arsenal while lesser lights Portsmouth and Aston Villa are also keen on a finisher of his calibre but will struggle to attract him without the offer of European football next season.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Probably around £10m. He only have one year left on his contract.

If he only has a year left he'd be less than 10 million, more like 6 I think. Although it obviously depends on how many clubs are in for him.

Very good player. Been very impressed with him and strikes (no pun intended!) me as the type of player that would settle very niceley into Premiership life. Scores all types of goals and whereas not the most pacey, certainly does more than enough in the area of the pitch that he should be.

I think he would suit us perfectly, if we could get in another winger plus Klose I think we´d be in with a shout next season
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I'd be very happy if we signed Klose.

He's vastly experienced, scores all types of goals, has that nack of scoring the really important goals in the big games, and is like the old-fashioned British styled striker. Has lacks in pace but his positioning and aerial ability makes up for that and would be an ideal striker for us next season without breaking the bank.

              Go get him Rafa!!!

I wouldn't mind at all if we signed him at the right price. Let's face it any player being brought in is a gamble to a certain extent, and would he be any more of a risk than splashing £20m or so on Torres for example?

There is something about Klose that leads me to think he might well be more suited to the British game but who knows.

I wouldn't pay £10m for him. But of course I don't have to because:

                      a) I am neither George Gillett nor Tom Hicks and
                      b) He's not coming here anyway
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

he's not bellamy fast but he's not slow like kuyt or crouch and he's an excellent finisher. 8-10 million would be a bargin imo.
