Just seen the reserves highlights on the official. Spearing did look quite small and stocky, built like Stig Tofting. On the whole they are a quite tall athletic bunch of players. Insua looks like he might be the business.Comment

Insua looks a cracking little player. I would expect him to breakthrough next season if he continues to have games like taht.

I picked my son up from Halton Stadium (Widnes) last night just as the crowd were leaving after the Everton v ManU (1-2) reserve game was finished.
I can't help thinking that Liverpool should bring the reserve team back nearer to Liverpool as Wrexham is too far to travel for a reserve fixture. I know the club are doing it to help Wrexham out financially (which is a nice gesture) but it's at the expense of our fans who can't get over there to watch our reserves develop etc.
Does anybody have an idea as to how long this agreement is place for and if there are any plans to change it?Liverpool born and bred.Comment

I have only heard very positive things about Insua. Also it would be good to see the ressies back nearer Liverpool cause Wrexham is about 40 mins away?I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area.
