We dont need the money. So I would not take the chance of selling him and seeing him improve his passing and composure somewhere else.

Because when he does, he is for sure a 20m+ player.

momo is awesome. dont think we'll sell. i remember at the end of last season his passing was improving. hes had a few unlucky bad injuries and was hurried back for the barce game. he was amazing! a couple of games later, after a couple of bad games with not much training/match practice etc., people have made up their minds that hell always play that way!?!? i find this situation strange. momo is a very good player and a great prospect!

Liverpool to double Barcelona target Sissoko wages
            tribalfooball.com - March 28, 2007

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is set to offer Momo Sissoko a double-your-money contract offer to ward off Barcelona.

Benitez plans to open talks with the 22-year-old and ensure his long-term future is on Merseyside.

Sissoko can now expect to double his money to around £40,000 a week after two outstanding seasons at Anfield.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

From an unknown web-site....you know the one...

                "Mo dough for Sissoko

                COMMENT ON THIS STORY

LIVERPOOL are to offer Momo Sissoko a double-your-money deal to keep him out of the clutches of Barcelona.
The Spanish big guns have the Mali international on a shortlist of four summer targets as they draw up battle plans to strengthen next season.

Valencia golden boy David Albelda, Monaco’s Yaya Toure and Atletico Madrid star Peter Luccin are also being watched. Yet Sissoko is the one who really fits the bill as they seek to add some much-needed bite to their engine room.

Now Rafa Benitez plans to open talks with the 22-year-old and ensure his long-term future is on Merseyside.

Sissoko can now expect to double his money to around £40,000 a week after two outstanding seasons at Anfield.

Kop manager Benitez plucked him from under Everton’s noses in July 2005, snapping him up from Valencia in a shock £5.6million raid.

Yet despite arriving in England as a relative unknown, he quickly established himself as a pivotal figure in Benitez’s plans.

So much so that the Spaniard insisted he had the raw material to become Liverpool’s version of Patrick Vieira.

Despite the rotation system, Sissoko has become indispensable as the man who does much of the unsung midfield work, allowing Xabi Alonso and Steven Gerrard the freedom to press forward.

Sissoko has become a cult figure on the terraces and has established a reputation as one of the toughest tacklers in the Premiership.

In his debut season, he collected 11 yellow cards and one red.

This season he has been booked eight times despite spending three months on the sidelines.

That came after a dislocated shoulder at Birmingham in November and followed a career-threatening eye injury when he got an accidental boot in the face against Benfica in Portugal 12 months ago.

He was outstanding in both legs of the Reds’ Champions League triumph against Barca — performances which con-firmed to the La Liga pacesetters that he was the man they wanted."

Rafa wont sell him - dont forget this is the 2nd time Rafa has signed him - when Rafa was at Valencia then again here - Rafa obviously rates Momo highly & he wont be leaving anytime soon.

Sell for anything over £10m, Masch is a much more intelligent player and can pass the ball aswell.

I'd go along with that, but I doubt Rafa will.

                        He's staying.

To be fair at the end of last season Momo seemed to have learnt to pass short weel and intelligently. this season he seems to have regressed but to be fair to him he hasn't got many games under his belt and a lot of more experienced players were awful at the start of the season too.

Obviously every player has a price but I would want alot of money before I was willing to let Momo go.

I think the question should be if Momo want to stay and be a bit part player?

I can't imagine that he will play that many games next season, maybe 15-20, and is that enough for him or will he move to another club and play every week?
