Gunners skipper Thierry Henry is also known to be a huge fan of the player who is currently recovering from a fractured foot, but Premiership rivals Liverpool and Manchester United are also believed to be interested.

        Please let this be true.

i'd snatch their hands off if we could get ribery in a deal with cisse going the other way.

he is quality. can beat his man, creative, strong, tough, quick- everything you'd want in a winger

He is out injured with a fractured foot so I would be surprised if he had made any impact in recent weeks.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Yeah, ok it´s been a while since I read the interview, it was either Diouf or Emon who was talking about Ribery and saying that he had not found his form yet and was defending him.

Saying that, if it comes down to Liverpool or Arsenal he will probably choose them.
              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Arsenal have cash for £12M Ribery
                tribalfooball.com - April 01, 2007

Arsenal have the cash available to land Olympique Marseille winger Franck Ribery.

The French winger is top of boss Arsene Wenger's summer hit list after impressing at the 2006 World Cup.

Ribery almost joined the Gunners last year but decided to stay at the Stade Velodrome, despite the club failing to reach the Champions League. But the 23-year-old now admits he will slap in a transfer request if Marseille - eighth in Le Championnat - miss out again.

He said: "I don't want to experience the same situation as last summer and the clubs that were interested in me continue to contact me. My main objective remains to qualify for the Champions League and then we will see what happens."

Ribery would cost £12million but Arsenal managing director Keith Edelman said: "We're very excited by what we have achieved this season and we will have money to spend."
