    OMFG Stevie G's tackle tonight

Didn't see all of the England game as i was watching the mighty Norn Iron but thank fcuk i caught the best moment of the England
match which was to see Stevie G making the most beautiful crunching tackle you're ever likely to see.
    Sweet as a nut.

you missed his shocking dive then?

Other than that he played very well.

"Surely McClaren will now realise that Gerrard should play in the centre "

Maybe Rafa will as well one of these days. There will be no number 19 if he doesn't. Not for a while anyway...

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

Stevie's one little dive was nothing compared to the antics of the Andorra team. Never seen such a bunch of **** in my life.

Andorra were ****houses and all they wanted to do was fight.

Gerrard's dive was embarrassing, but I was delighted to see the crunching challenge. It's an aspect of his game that has almost disappeared, and for a long time I've wanted to see more of it in a Liverpool shirt. The look on his face was beautifully ugly, and it was a fierce, if a little bit naughty challenge.

Great to see and I want to see it again on Saturday.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Well said that man! The dive was crap. I hope someone will tell him so.

It was quality but the best moment of the game was his second goal, by far. You never see Lampard orchestrate a move like that. Rarely see anyone for Liverpool do that either with SG out wide but that's another debate

                I like Stevie's "crunching" tackles, they're ace.

The one at the start of the match was ridiculous though, he could have been sent off.

At least he cares though. He was the only one that really wanted it tonight.

Gerrard seems to play his best when he's out of his comfort zone.

First half rattled him today. Last pre-season did the same for last years performance....FA Cup...Champions League final....

I haven't seen enough tackles from Gerrard the past season or two.

He's producing more dives than crunching tackles these days
