I ****ING HATE IT WHEN HE DIVES!

It's not like he needs to...FFS even AJ stayed on his feet better than Gerrard in that game.

      Disgraceful behaviour

The one at the start of the match was ridiculous though, he could have been sent off.

At least he cares though. He was the only one that really wanted it tonight.
Dangerous or not i fookin love them, just great seeing him fly into a challenge at a 100 mile an hour, in footballing terms nothing beats it.
He really ought to do it more often though, he did it much more frequently when he was 19,20,21
        Controlled aggression of course.

Crunching tackle. Looked from the Beeb highlights like he nearly took the other guys head off. More of the same please.

Gerrard's dive was embarrassing, but I was delighted to see the crunching challenge. It's an aspect of his game that has almost disappeared, and for a long time I've wanted to see more of it in a Liverpool shirt. The look on his face was beautifully ugly, and it was a fierce, if a little bit naughty challenge.

Great to see and I want to see it again on Saturday.
I miss the SG with those bone crunchers. I'd rather he does that and gets a red or two each season.

So do I. We seem to have become a team of pussies.

You might miss it but it is a recipe for disaster. If he played like that the risk of injury would overwhelming! Both to him and the opponents. Why criticize a player who finally stopped getting those stupid red cards in the middle of the pitch for lame tackles made out of frustration? It makes zero sense.

He makes the tackles when he know he can 'make' it in time. He's showing us that he is in fact getting older and wiser.

Think you've an excellent point there.

His best season was on back of the whole transfer saga, when he felt he had something to prove and make up to the fans.

Similar to England performance, knew people were questioning his commitment and ability again, and so moves it up a notch.

Think we have to start making up stories questioning commitment to lfc and his ability and we'll get another world class season out of him again.

                        It's psychology innit?
