Makes a change from 'the best team lost', does anyone else think he's not long before leaving?

He seems genuinely pissed off at the minute. i would guess a combination of theie clearly monetarily motivated rather than preparation driven pre-season schedule and Abramovich taking control of transfers has done it.

He did however in the same interview as saying we were the better team also claim that Chelsea controlled the game, by having more of the ball. So there is hope that he will remain everyones favourite rent-a-hate-figure.

I think it hurt him today. The difference in passion and effort between the teams was immense.

cast your mind back to last years charity shield....

Chelsea played well and wanted the win......so Jose, if it was only a practice match whats the difference between this year and last? we had players at the world cup too y'know...

Mourinho admits Liverpool deserved to win but cannot see the Merseysiders taking the Premiership title from his team.

He said: "It would have been good for us to get the draw and take it to penalties but they deserved to win the game.

"They are a very difficult team to beat.

"When you play them you can win, lose or draw. They defend well and they are well-organised.

"This season they have more solutions. They can play with Crouch or play a different way with [Craig] Bellamy. Or play with both.

"But a competition of 10 months is different to a game of A against B.

"If I play them again tomorrow, it will be difficult but over 10 months I believe we can do it."
"In fact I’m going to make a promise which will be welcomed by many. If there’s no finance secured by the opening day of the season, I’m going to hang up my keyboard and close KOPTALK down." - Duncan Oldham, Expert Conman. March 29th 2006

this time he couldnt deny it

we WERE better, in fact we were DOMINANT. its the first time in 10 meetings.

you could see it hurt mourinho...the loudness of his voice dropped away as he said it.

what really pissed me off was that sky cut it from the interviews on SSN later that evening
