He's a decent player IMO but not worth 13M. Doesn't he play a similar role to garcia but is more left sided?

Liverpool chasing Lyon star to replace Kewell
According to reports from France, Liverpool have set their sights on Lyon star Florent Malouda.

Liverpool will be looking for a new left midfielder in the summer, as injury-hit Harry Kewell will almost certainly quit Anfield at the end of the season.

Reds boss Rafa Benitez is thought to be a huge fan of Malouda, and will push in order to bring the highly-rated winger to Liverpool.

Reports suggest that a number of European clubs have made an enquiry for the player, including Manchester United and Fiorentina.

However, Liverpool are planning to lunch a stunning £13m bid to scoop the competition, and secure the services of the 26-year-old.

he a good player and has been linked with juve and arse. he scores goals too. yes please.

I'd take him, but not for £13m. £7/8m would be a good price - offers a genuine pacey threat on the left.

            Agreed. £13m is too much.

I don't think even Rafa knows if Kewell will leave or not in the summer. That will probably depend on how fit he will be.

A fit Kewell is better than Malouda.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Not as good and dynamic as Ribery.

                No thanks.

How on Earth can you say that?

It seems entirely pointless to me to speculate like that.
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

                    I hate paper speak.

What is remotely stunning about this?
                    Oh I don't know.

Sure, I wasn't suggesting you were pretending otherwise. I just really don't know why you bothered, that's all.

It doesn't really matter of course.

                              I know that you didn't

Rafa have showed how much fait he has in Kewell and I don't think he will just sell him off without knowing how fit he will be. If Kewell shows that he is on the right way when he starts playing for us again then why would Rafa sell him and splash out £10m+ on a left winger? That money could be used to sign another player instead. Like Richards or Alves for example.
