Crouch and Garcia were massive for us last year at times. So was Kewell.

Their replacements simply haven't been as good.

The likes of Gerrard and Alonso underperforming hasn't helped either.

The relacements havent settled quickly enough. Lets hope they settle quicker next season, or we could face more of the same. To totally outplay Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal at home yet still be 19 points of the pace is very frustrating and tells a story of poor finishing and lack of imagination in the final third. Maybe Kewell and Garcia would have helped the latter, but its impossible to say.

Yeah, two goood points. Forgot about them. In both those games I thought we could've done with him.

On the whole though, I don't feel like we've missed him too much. Not sure why.
