Okay so we see it mentioned all the time about what we need to take us further in the prem, but what do we need:
Need a clinical striker, okay we've seen Crouch do the business today, and for me him not playing has been the difference between last seasons pts total and this seasons. but I think we need a Bellamy type player, with pace and the ability to finish more chances.
Left winger, Gonzo looked a bit poor today, and yes Kewell is due to come back, but we can't bank on him so I think we need a competent LW if nothing spectacular, and hopefully share duties between Kewell and A.N.Other.
Pennant seems to be improving every game so i'm not sure how much we need a RW, but if we're going to go with Pennant he needs to hit the ground running next season. So again maybe a competent RW if nothing amazing, to share duties with Pennant.
That's it for me, think we're fine in the other positions, maybe some cheap cover at CD, but we've got Arbeloa who can fill in as well.
