    timesonlines ratings. Do you agree?

I just read Shaggys post and thanks for that. The timesonline gave their ratings of the match and wondered if anyone agreed with them. They are as follows.

    Player ratings: Liverpool: Reina 7, Arbeloa 8, Agger 7, Carragher 7, Aurelio 7, Alonso 8, Mascherano 8 (Riise 82min), Pennant 6, Gerrard 5 (Kuyt 56min, 5), Gonzalez 5 (Zenden 69min), Crouch 8

Personally I rated us this way

Reina 8, dropped a few balls but always shows good judgement of when to come and when to stay etc.

Arbeloa 8, Great game, settling in well

Agger 7, Not his best game TBH but forming a great partenership with Carra

Carragher 7.5, Solid enough as usual

Aurelio 7.5, Impressive understanding with Gonzo and always looks a threat with his crosses

Alonso 7.5, Looked comfortable playing with Mascherano and played second fiddle to him TBH

Mascherano 8.5 (Riise 82min), Second best only to Crouchy. Not good enough for West Ham but surely good enough for a regular start with us.

Pennant 7.5 Really tried hard today and while some things didn't come off for him, he looked an improved player today.

Gerrard 7 (Kuyt 56min, 5), Not his best game but he could have had a goal or two if Crouchy linked up better with him.

Gonzalez 7 (Zenden 69min), Showed some good moments today and a big improvement.

Crouch 8.5 Took his chances really well and must start against PSV IMO.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I'd go with that, thought the time's rating of pennant at 6 was very harsh.

Apart from Pennant's low score, Stevie should of got a 6.5 & Gonzo a 7 - i agree with the times Player ratings

You could almost frame that list as it wouldn't be very often when our captain and our driving force on so many occasions scores the lowest of all our players. It would never have happened in Diao's days

But Diao was never our permanent captain

It's nice to know that we can spank teams and carry Stevie at the same time LOL

I'm pleased to see that he's found a new home at Stoke in a division that suits his ability, or lack of
