    Bellamy On Way Out?

    Two reports suggest so:

Liverpool discuss player swap for Trezeguet
    tribalfooball.com - April 01, 2007

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is willing to discuss a cash-plus-player swap with Juventus for star striker David Trezeguet.

Benitez has been chasing Trezeguet since before the winter market in January and Tuttosport says talks have progressed positively between the two clubs.

Juve have been given short shrift over enquiries about including either Xabi Alonso or Momo Sissoko in the deal, but Benitez is more flexible over three of their Liverpool teammates.

John Arne Riise, Craig Bellamy and Mark Gonzalez have all been put on the table by Liverpool for Juve directors to consider. Trezeguet has just over a year left on his current contract and is open to a move to Anfield.

Craig Bellamy has sensationally opened the door for a summer return to Celtic. (News of the World)

Rafa Benitez fears Steven Gerrard and Xabi Alonso could be lured from Liverpool if they are not handed massive new deals from the club's new American owners. (Various)

I wouldn't shed a tear if Gonzalez and Bellamy were flogged to Juve.

Riise on the other hand, should stay.

Prob about right, plus Cisse plus any sales generated.

However, £50M is what these days, 1 top striker & 1 top m/f & money vanished? Which is prob just what we need, but selling clubs now know we have the money to compete for the top signings, so I have no doubt we will not get them as cheap as we thought.

            Oh come one!

50 million is a **** load of cash, even in today's market.

Only Chelsea and Madrid can compete with spending 50m in one summer.

Yup, no point in trying to buy local next year, clubs have no reason to sell.
