my first one was the 76-82 Red without the Hitachi sponsor on it. since 92-93centenary kits I have only restrained my self from buying 1. THE AWFUL green from 99-01 season. It is dead pants.

1989 Adidas Candy Home kit. I had the away as well. That **** was rank.

I got the full blood red kit from my grandad xmas 1977 (I was 9). Classic Umbro strip with club crest and umbro logo both embroidered in gold thread. I remember the fabric being an light airy breathable type thing. My top had long sleeves and the narrower collar trim. I used to love wearing the whole kit to go down to play football at the local green in Limerick where I lived back in those days (and yes there were jumpers involved too).

Mine was the one with the hitachi sponsor. For me, the ugliest of them all was that foul round necked rag from 98-00!

My 2nd one was the classic 85/86 Crown Paints strip. Lovely stuff.
