    Kuyt booking - cool

    From The Times

Liverpool were so comfortable that Dirk Kuyt, who had already been cautioned twice in the competition, appeared to get himself booked in the second half. Having failed to be cautioned for a foul, the Holland forward deliberately obstructed a free kick — much to the amusement of his team-mates — which means that he will sit out the second leg against PSV and not run the risk of missing the first leg of the semi-final.
I was watching on the telly - and I swear Rafa barked something at him just before the incident, and the silly grin from SG was particularly obvious.

Cool. Play by the rules, I say.

That was very funny. Well in Dirk.

Good stuff Dirk, made me chuckle.

Do we have anyone else (apart from Masher) on a booking ?

Beckham did it before and got slated for it in an Engerland shirt... It's something you've got to be conscious of... How many teams end up with players getting a booking just before Carling Cup and FA Cup games where they can be rested. Beckham managed it but then was stoopid enough to brag about it

Indeed. It was fairly obvious when you saw him and Stevie having a laugh.

He deserved one for the clumsy tackle as well to be far.

All that said, i thought he was particularly disappointing...again.

I remember that. He was stupid to brag about it knowing our press as he did.

That said, in footballing terms it makes perfect sense.

Yeah, i noticed he had a little giggle with Stevie after the yellow card also. As you say, fair play.

              Live by the book......

I don't think Kuyt has scored since January - the screamer at West Ham.

It's a bit of a worry. He's obviously a much better player than he's currently showing, but I wouldn't be quite so concerned if he was missing chances. Unfortunately, he doesn't even look like scoring.

Yep, he was poor...ten games without a goal now.

I really, really want the lad to do well for the club, but it's just not happening at the moment and he should step aside for Bellamy and Crouch to play a few games together.

Lampard did the same when he broke Alonso's Leg. He was looking to get booked as it meant he would miss a 3rd Round FA Cup tie instead of a League match

had to record the game because of work, but just watched it and even the ESPN commentators acknowledged how he looked for it.

                      absolutely nothing wrong with it.

                      that'll only make it harder.

Bellamy will have to play against a team that needs 4 away goals,
