Crouch recent nose job seems to have fixed up his headers as well.
2 superb goals from headers the last 2 games, top corner and powerful. Finally we have an aerial threat up front!!!!

D'yer know what, it would be absolutely fantastic for him to win a CL medal, to add to his FA Cup medal from last year, then a League winners medal in the not too distant future, that really would shut up all the doubters about him being where he is and what he is achieving - for once and for all.

Crouchy takes the criticism well and uses it to his advantage and keeps proving people wrong - I hope he continues his improvement. His celebrations against Arsenal hinted towards him working on his headers or at least the acknowledgement that people discuss his weakness in his heading technique

Absolutely! I was thinking, what a transformation he has been, from the days he was the laughing stock at Villa and Soton, but now the leading scorer for Liverpool in Champions League and EPL.
If he keeps on improving on his headers, he is going to be world class!!

somebody must have told him to delay his runs into the box..... that way he has some momentum to generate power in his headbombs!

All to often this season he has been trying to head the ball from a stationary position.

Both headers as A.Gray put it, were 'indefensible'.

A defender has no hope when a) the delivery is whipped in with pace b) Peter times his runs better.

Crouch doesn't even have to do much with the ball if the delivery has the pace. To be fair to crouch, the deliveries lately have been a lot better of late.

On a side note a few cracking corners from Gerrard last night for a change, notably the delivery for the Carragher chance.

I suspect Rafa and the coaches have been working on crosses 'intensely' in training as it was a real flaw in our game.

Finnan's always had the quality to cross them in from advanced positions. He must have a fair few assists this season.
