Kromkamp?

With Kromkamp hardly featuring in the pre-season and not even being in the Community Shield squad, coupled with the alleged renewed interest in Alves, could it be that we are not going for another striker like Kuyt? Perhaps Rafa is going to make do with Pongolle - he looked as happy as anyone after the final whistle on Sunday.
IMHO it would be a good option as it would provide extra cover/competition for the RB position, and, as someone has pointed out on another thread, would give Rafa more scope to play 3-5-2 with Alves and Pennant on the right flank.
Personally, I would like to see Pongolle given more of a chance. Just my very humble opinion!

Pongolle has many things going for him, but his finishing iss atrocious. Cisse's is better, and that's saying something... FSP has other things to his locker, like control, and a good head on his shoulders, but he's had a fair few opportunities and failed to take them.

It's not an obsession - like most things to do with our game it comes down to opinions and feelings! You have yours, which you are allowed to express, as are all of us on here!

I have to say I like Krompkamp. each time i saw him play, he made a good impression...we should keep him, he's a good back up for RB or RM position.

Surely it would be Alves or Pennant in a 3-5-2 system. Can't see how both would be playing.
