I imagine there'd be enough people on here not making the trip, for whatever reasons, and I'd love a mass Est meet up in Liverpool...couple of nights maybe (reccy the night before the game?) for some debauchery.
What? You won't be at Manc airport, shouting "STAND, STAND"
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Imagine, just IMAGINE if we beat the mancs in a European Cup final.
Inside or outside the ground, ticket or no ticket, you would regret it for the rest of your life if you weren't there in Athens that night.
Although you could die!

Now I have an image of Shaggy shouting "STAND, STAND" in Athens.
But I agree with you though, Istanbul was an amazing experience, despite the ****ty trip from the airport to the ground.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Hahaha. No, no I wouldn't.Originally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostWhat? You won't be at Manc airport, shouting "STAND, STAND"
I wouldn't be able to enjoy it very much if we played the Mancs. It would be extremely unpleasant and, being fuelled by booze, I wouldn't trust myself to keep my mouth shut. I hate Man United and I hate their fans intensely, in case you hadn't noticed.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostYou wouldnt go either Shaggy ?!

I'm also the unluckiest man on the planet and if it kicked off near me, I would inevitably either be hit by a baseball bat for no reason or get arrested for nothing (it's happened before). Or both. I can really do without spending time in a Greek hospital or jail. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Some high-grade sniff would be required for sure.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View Post
Cigars? Add to your list Class A drugs (I can't do a genuine all day/nighter anymore without the aid of drugs as a little pick-me-up, sadly
) and we'll be laughing.
I'd be gutted for many more reasons than one if we end up playing the Mancs in the final, but a couple of days on the razzle in Liverpool would be a nice little consolation.
But no obligatory.

No. And I would have a very good chance of getting a ticket.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostNot even if you can get a ticket ?
Even if we were to win, most of the trip would be unbearably tense and dangerous. I know that being the type of person I am, I would be unable to enjoy myself in Athens (only if it was v the Mancs) as much as I would if I were in Liverpool.
If we were playing Bayern, I would LOVE it, and be there in a second, having fun with fellow reds and a bissl schmäh with the Bavarians.Just when I discovered the meaning of life, they changed it

Doesn't look like that's going to be happening.Originally posted by Maestro View PostNo. And I would have a very good chance of getting a ticket.

This could be one of our greatest ever foreign excursions. As long as we overcome Chelsea and Milan do the business against Scum.
