    Crouch!!!

    Of all the strikers we have, we must hold on to Peter Crouch. He offers much more than his height. His touch and overall ball control (not to mention his tricks) are better than most players. Always gives 100%.

    If Rooney could do half of what Crouch does at club or international level he would be some player :bird: . Crouch is the most under rated player in football, and Shrek is one of the most over rated!

    All toghether now, He's big, he's red, his feet stick out the bed, PETER CROUCH!! PETER CROUCH!!

    I think you are under rating rooney, IMO he is a world class talent, especially for one so young.

      It is true that Crouch is underrated and Rooney is overrated.

        I agree with the crouch under rating, but not the Rooney over rating

          Rooney is a very good player but not as good as more or less everyone thought he would be by now.

          Owen and Fowler was better at the same age for example.

          Crouch improves all the time and tall players takes longer time to reach their peak.
          Just believe and you never know what will happen.

          According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                Rooney was electric but he has had a very mediocre season (with flashes of genius)

                My worry for the lad (not actually worried because i dislike the ****) is that by the time he is 28 he will be as big as a house and as quick as Sami Hypia. It would be like seeing a skillful dean windass* waddling about the pitch.

                Crotch on the other hand is more consistent and TBH more of a goal threat - something I never thought I would say. At the moment Crotch probably has the greater potential.
