I agree that Klose is better with his head, but I always thought Raul was a very good header of the ball. At least as good as Garcia.Originally posted by Kopite_Colin View PostOK I was probably a bit harsh there...what I meant was it isn't his forte. Whereas Klose is more accomplished with his head.

Raul closer to sealing free switch to Liverpool
tribalfooball.com - April 10, 2007
Real Madrid captain Raul wants a move to Liverpool at the end of this season.
DiarioSport says talks are already at an advanced stage between Raul and Real about securing a release from his contract, which expires in 2010. Raul, who is on 8 million-a-year, will have to take a pay-cut to move to Anfield, but he wants to join Rafa Benitez's Liverpool in the summer.
Raul has accepted his time at Real is coming to an end and his agent, Gines Carvajal, said on the weekend: "If Raul must leave Real Madrid, he will choose his destination. It will be very easy: he loves England."
Liverpool boss Benitez will welcome Raul with open arms, particularly on a free transfer. The Spaniard would be the perfect replacement for Robbie Fowler, who is unlikely to be offered a new deal at the end of this season.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I agree.
He would be a good signing. He is still a very good player and can play behind one striker or as a striker.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

Much like you I'd guess.Originally posted by dirty_sanchez View PostRaul is a lazy alehouse **** who peaked in his early twenties and then lived off past glories for the rest of his career.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Raul is more or less the only Real player that works his socks off in every game. He may not be as good as he was a few years ago but to call him lazy just shows that you don't watch Real play that much.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

Eusebio will make a comeback and top that list. Mark my words!Originally posted by desertscouser View PostTop 5, I would agree with you.
Raul is actually the top goalscorer of all time in the Champions League/European cup with 56. Shevchenko is one goal behind him, followed by horse face, Di Stefano and Eusebio.
No thx to Raula. She is OTT.
