Goalkeeper Scott Carson has joined Premiership rivals Charlton Athletic on loan until the end of the season.
The England Under-21 international spent the final three months of last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, and was then called up into the England squad for the World Cup Finals.
Carson has played nine first team games for Liverpool so far since he arrived at Anfield from Luton Town in January 2005.

I think it's a good move to be honest. Dudek has a a lot of experience, which we need as cover. We obvioulsy couldn't get rid of him either. Keep him for a year while the young lad carson gets some much needed experience instead of just sitting on our bench.Originally posted by The Glove

dudek has had a couple of clangers which he will never be allowed to forget but he is still a class keeper.his first season he was outstanding.

Actually, Bascombe did mention in his last article that if Dudek leaves or if Carson goes on loan we'll be bringing in another keeper.Comment
