Tevez is fooking quality. End of. Tevez & Kuyt up front is deadly.

I think he is just like kuyt, hardworking and says all the right things, but will not be a 20 goal a season player. IMHO if we had tevez or kuyt alongside someone like eto'o/villa/klose (add in your choice of fm207 superstar) then that be a very handy combo.

Tevez would prosper with us if would could get some flair from our wing play, we would have the option of not just crossing everything but laying it off for him to run with.

Seeing as Tevez is getting settled into the PL & English style now, I would quite happily see him in a Red shirt, it would make less of a gamble that plenty of others being spoken about.

At least we'd know what we would be getting from him. We know Rafa as well, and that guarantees we'll get at least 75% more from him.

Unlike most, I don't think our issue is with strikers, more that it is with the service we give them!!! (Plus Rafa is playing Kuyt in a stupid role)!

Tevez is better than Rooney IMO.

He works his socks off, has excellent skill, scores goals and is very tough.

If Rafa have a chance to sign him for £10m-£15m then that would be a steal.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I agree with you. Tevez is definitely the better player.

Rooney has all of the above attributes. If I was given a choice between signing Shrek or Tevez, the former would get my vote every time.

We will have to wait and see Rooney really hasn't delivered in the big games yet. Four goals in the CL for example. We are talking about two of the best young players in the world and no one knows how good they will be in five years time. Both of them have the potential to be the best player in the world if they can avoid any serius injury.

I don't believe that this another **** rumour but I don't think he is first choice. Probably a backup if we can't get Eto'o or Villa.

Eto'o and Tevez upfront next season would be fantastic IMO but I doubt that we will get both.

I'd love it LOVE IT if we signed Tevez. He was an outstanding player when he played in Brazil.

As for Owen he can **** right off. He had his chance(s)

two completly different players with different attributes you can't compare them
together they can do plenty for us up front

I respect your views mate but I do find some of your previous comments about Kuyt rather strange. For me he hasn't done enough to justify the 10m fee we paid for him. He does far too much work outside the box. If he was missing chances I could show more support but he doesn't even look like scoring.

PS - Kuyt to score against Reading

I'd say so too, better technique, and he can really run with the ball at his feet. Offers more flair and creativity.
