    LFC RSS feed

Just thought I would post a link to an RSS feed aggregator I have put together to index lots of Liverpool related news stories from other RSS feeds and sites like the official, Sky Sports, BBC, the Echo, Daily Mail, The Times, Football 365 and more.

If anyone has any comments or suggestions please let me know.

http://www.lfclive.net/feed.php is the link to the feed showing the last 10 news stories.

You need some sort of RSS reader or Firefox 2 or IE 7 to open it properly but basically the things you can do with it are endless e.g. include it in your own blog or site, put it on your myspace, get it on your phone, have it on your Vista sidebar etc. etc.

If you have any suggestions for it don't hesitate to post them!

    Thanks

Anyone know if there's a LFC RSS feed as a gadget for Windows Vista? Noticed that Arsenal Fc have one, but would be great if we had one. Thx
They've won the league, bigger stars than Dallas, they've got more silver than Buckhingham Palace, no one knows quite what to expect, when the Red Machine's in full effect!

There is an RSS feed gadget with Windows Vista. If you go into Internet Explorer 7, open up http://www.lfclive.net/feed.php in it and click Subscribe to Feed. Then if you add the RSS gadget to the Vista sidebar and choose a feed you can will have the the option to choose that feed.

I hope that explains it properly!

Can anyone try two other things I'm working on and provide some comments / feedback?

The first is an LFCPost style page with stories divided by news source. Its however got a twist that it can be customised so you can click "Add Sources" and choose which news sources you want to see. You can click the X on the red box of a source to stop showing that particular source and move the headline boxes around the page.

This is all saved so when you go back to the site you will see exactly the same sources are you chose the last time you went on the site.

                  See that at http://www.lfclive.net/main.php

Another thing which is no where near complete is a page which shows the top stories and groups them in with other sources for the same story. e.g:

                  ***UNHAPPY BELLAMY WANTS OUT***
                  Bellamy dismisses bust-up reports (BBC)
Bellamy laughs off Liverpool rumours (RTE)
                  Bellamy dismisses rumours (LFC Online)
                  BELLAMY RUBBISHES RAFA STORY (Liverpoolfc.tv)

                  ***RAFA: MISTAKES COST US***
                  Rafa rues mistakes (LFC Online)
                  Rafa bemoans mistakes (Sky Sports)
                  RAFA: MISTAKES COST US (Liverpoolfc.tv)

See http://www.lfclive.net/summary.php to try that out.

Any comments will be very much appreciated!

New version of the main page now on - http://www.lfclive.net

Shows the last 30 stories by default and options to show the top stories by views or highest rating story. All stories can now be rated out of 5 as well.

Any views on it please post them here.

                    Thanks
