The more the merrier. We'll need a few players as cover for our CL exploits. I doubt Kewell will play more than a sub role in the PL.

Should Liverpool, as expected, hold their 3-0 lead over PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday, the English side will set a course for the May 23 UEFA Champions League final in Athens with a semi-final against Bayern Munich or Milan.

I think they should do their homework a bit better.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

          * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Yep not a lot happening for us down the left though Riise is popping up with important goals it will still be good to have Harry back...he was truly excellent before his latest injury ...

Pennant and Kewell both on form sending in the balls for Crouchinio Brilliant
                      !

I agree we have missed Kewell. However, this is last chance saloon, he may get to stay if he finishes the season on good form and injury free, if not I think Rafa will get rid.

A fit Harry would have taken the pressure of Speedy and given him time to adjust to the EPL. Hopefully he'll do well enough to earn a new contract and share the left duties with Speedy next season.

and hopefully we'll replace Pennant on the right

I still can't see him playing any part with the first team considering that there's only 5 weeks or so left of the season. If he plays for the reserves on the 10th I doubt that he'd play a full 90 minutes first time out so he'd obviously require more than one reserve team outing before he gets anywhere near being match fit.

nothing to stop him making a few important cameos through the end of season run in, if we can have him fit for the CL semi's i'll be happy

Alright, who else was expecting the full title of this thread to be 'Kewell to return on the 10th...of Never' ???

Good luck to him, we've missed him at times this season.
