Went to only my second away match today. All in all it was a good day, albeit not that good a match, however I had to put up with some complete neanderthals today.

First ****wit was an idiot sat right behind us during the match shouting a fair bit of racism about, I love the scouse accent but this plank seem to have 6 pints of phlegm permenantly in his whiney voice. He'd start whistling, which was ****ing loud. (anyone there - he was on the far right of the crowd, about level with the exit). And when it went 1-1 he spent the rest of the match shouting abuse at our players.
To start with he was 'funny' ish, but after a while just ****ing annoying. :whatever:

Second ****wit stole a beer than ran off. Nice way to maintain our reputation

Third ****wits clearly couldn't be bothered to wait for a urinal, didn't even piss in the sink.... nope, it was the wall for them. :whatever:

Long story short, a small minority of idiots must make us look like ****ing awful fans.

None of the incidents which you described are uncommon, especially the racism which has been coming back into Anfield, as well as into our away support, quite steadily for the last five or so years.

its not unique to us tho, it's everywhere, we just think we're better than your average fans, and for the most part we probably are, but you get nob eds at every club, and we're no different. Also don't forget the traveling are usually worst of the lot (without wanting to tar everyone with the same brush of course)

Not at all mate, you'd be absolutely fine.

You'll love all the singing etc. and banter with the home fans (love how we clap them when they sing 'sign on' etc.).

Today's stuff didn't spoil it for me, just really disappointed me. However, 99% of fans are sound.

Funny thing was, there were coppers in earshot who could hear it and they didn't say or do anything!

Said it before and i'll say it again...every club brings it's 'bad egg' element of fans, always has and always will do.
Sad to hear about that mate, all you want to do is support your team and enjoy the match.
90% of fans are sound as, you get you're few morons wherever you go.
Sad fact of life i'm afraid.

Yeah, I realise it's just a few idiots but it's a shame.

Funny thing is, I think the main idiot and his mates actually thought they were doing the scouse wit proud. For example, one of their black players was fouled by Sissoko so he shouted "It's alright, he's allowed to do that" :whatever:
That was the tamest effort.

Definitely not. The BNP are the most abhorent group of people in this country. I don't see many of them attending our matches....

I've heard it all before aswell. At the Benfica match last year some knobhead behind me was shouting at the ref "you should have died at Heysel you c*nt!!"

I reported him to the nearest steward and he was thrown out.
