I explained to them the error of their ways, and enjoyed their cowardly grovelling. It was more enjoyable that they squirmed and begged, than to get into a one sided fight with them. I can intimidate quite well when I need to. I'm a bit ashamed to admit that I was hoping that they would throw a punch though, but it became clear that they were bigmouths, so maybe a good scare was enough. When I had calmed down, I was happy that I did not get into a brawl. I generally get tickets for the main stand anyway, so I am sure they will spot me at some other stage, and if it stops them from giving abuse to someone else, then it was worth it.

They will not be thrown out if you report it. I had this conversation with Chris(TheGlove) some time back in the KT days over an incident that I got involved in, in the main stand. If the stewards do not actually see and hear it, then they can do nothing about it. Some Indian lads sitting behind me and my friends were getting terrible abuse from the guys sitting beside them.Real vile individuals. I asked them to shut up and few times, and then my mate did. My mate, it was his first time at a game, then got a mouthfull of abuse for being Irish. He is a quiet lad so he backed down, so I had to get up again and have words. So I wandered down to the nearest steward to have a word about it, and got a "sorry mate, cant do a thing if I dont hear it, but I will keep an eye out"

Now given the distance and all the other noise around, it was impossible for the steward to be able to watch the whole time and do his job, so by the second half, the abuse started again, and every stereotypical abuse that you can think of was getting passed at the Indian lads. I got up and stepped over the seat and asked the lad who was sitting directly beside the scum if he would take my seat and I would sit beyween his mates and the guys throwing abuse. He agreed, and I had a friendly word with the scumbags again. One of the scumbags then called a steward and said that I had changed seats and that I was intimidating them.

I just can't understand these ****s! They don't realise the sacrifises these people make to fly thousands and thousands of miles to come and watch a game at Anfeld. It's much tiring and expensive than geting a taxi and arriving at Anfield in 10 minutes.

I'd be ****ing proud that a bunch of guys from India or even further away would come and watch my footie team. It shows the worldwide reputation of LFC and I would be damn proud at the club and everything associated with it.

This year, I tok my dad over to Anfield again. It was his first time over is years as he has been very sick, and he was unable even to make the short trip to Anfield with his condition. But he had an operation coming up, which he has had since, and it was a case that he may never get over again, so the doc gave him the all clear to travel after a thorough check out, and we were soon Anfield bound. My dads movement is quite limited and is slow due to his condition, but his mind is 100%. To make a long story short, he had abuse chucked at him by two Liverpool supporters that day, mocking the way he walked, how he had to be helped up and down the steps etc. The two ****heads even continued this down by the Arkles when they spotted my dad again after the game. It got to the stage where I had toi take my dad back to where he was staying, and then get a taxi back and have words with the two assholes.

How can someone be such a retard to do that? Credit to you Jaco for being patient. I'd probably get in to a fight, inside Anfield or outside. But I guess that's what they want you to do.

For me the most worrying thing is that nobody does anything to prevent these types of abuse... Most of the time people just sit, watch the match and are quiet, while those muppets have all the time in the world to throw abuse.

It's the same everywhere. Afew examples are, 5,000 mancs travel to Rome about 50 of which make a **** of themselves and give them all a bad name. I know they're mancs but it's still a fair point. The exact same goes for Tottenham. As for us today, how many reds were down at reading. 2,500? Probably about 20 of them were there to cause trouble but it's people like that that give us all a bad name.

It's a huge minority that cause trouble but it's that minority that stick out more than the rest because the rest simply go to enjoy the footy.

I have never heard racism at Anfield though but if I did I'd make sure I reported it to a steward so that the idiots that were doing it got thrown out.

i heard it once. these two or three wasters were yelling "talibanny" at anyone who didn't conform to their aryan template. it was really very horrible. i had a big row with one of them and reported him to the steward in the gangway from the paddock leading out to the toilets by the kop end.

the row then continued in front of the steward where the neanderthal appealed "but you're f***ing white aren't ya?!"

the steward did NOTHING.

Went to only my second away match today. All in all it was a good day, albeit not that good a match, however I had to put up with some complete neanderthals today.

First ****wit was an idiot sat right behind us during the match shouting a fair bit of racism about, I love the scouse accent but this plank seem to have 6 pints of phlegm permenantly in his whiney voice. He'd start whistling, which was ****ing loud. (anyone there - he was on the far right of the crowd, about level with the exit). And when it went 1-1 he spent the rest of the match shouting abuse at our players.
To start with he was 'funny' ish, but after a while just ****ing annoying. :whatever:

Second ****wit stole a beer than ran off. Nice way to maintain our reputation

Third ****wits clearly couldn't be bothered to wait for a urinal, didn't even piss in the sink.... nope, it was the wall for them. :whatever:

Long story short, a small minority of idiots must make us look like ****ing awful fans.
