Reading was a crap place to go. They are another one of these ****e teams who play music when they score; they play some sort of war cry thing at the beginning of the game; and their stadium announcer can be heard in the Kassam Stadium!

    No pubs about either!

Their stewards and police were **** as well. One steward was actually disabled and she couldn't walk properly - how the hell was she gonna sort anything?

However, we had fans there who made us all look thick ****s as usual. That prat with the banner about Rome - yeah mate cos we are all pure as the driven snow when it comes to hooliganism in Europe aren't we? Dickhead! And then all new chant to distance themselves from "English hooligans" - no-one will fall for that one yer idiots! Not with Heysel in their mind.

And then - the total utter cretin who started shouting at the top of his voice "You're just a **** club in Oxford!" Oxford?! ****in Oxford?! Get a map you moron!

Oh and to the weekend Dad who'd brought his horrible spoilt brat to the game - don't bother again - he obviously wasn't interested and one more kick of that seat would have seen him connect with my fist!

Anyway all of a sudden he just goes in the back of us cos he'd been concentrating on his kid which was loose in the car, and not on the road! Lasty leapt out the car and said "Yeah, you're not beeping yer ****ing horn now are you?!"

The colour drained from this fellas face as he tried to inspect the damage! Luckily for him there was none to our car.

I would say a large chunk of "fans" in our end hadn't been to 10 Liverpool matches in their lives, let alone this season. It was a joke.

I expect it's a sign of things to come.

Check out these two fat ****ers. It's not a ****ing circus.

I didn't see them. We were right on the back row. I had a great seat! Nearly killed me walking up all the steps though! One woman , an OAP, was complaining that they had put the concessions at the top as well, kids and OAPs but I bet most of the kids weren't even on kids tickets. This season I've been to more away games than home and normally enjoy them, apart from the racist arseholes but Villa and Reading were awful. The Reading fans are like robots.

You have to admit there was something suspicious about our end on Saturday. Huge pockets of fans that clearly should not have been there. How do they get tickets ?

I reckon someone high up at the ticket office is on the fix.

Also, at least a third of our end sat down, which was a bit odd.

EDIT; How on earth did you miss those two fat wig wearers ?! They were smack in the middle of the stand!

Yes but I was behind them! Way way behind them! To be honest I think the lack of available public type transport and the fact that it was Easter Saturday probably had more to do with what sort of fans went. Also it was Reading so there are probably a few LFC fans there who don't often get to games. I did notice a lot of older ST holders who I haven't seen for a while. Maybe they decided to use their tickets instead of handing them over to the usual lot.

I stayed in the Majedski when I was working in Reading - it's well and truely in the middle of nowhere, thankfully the hotel has a bar otherwise I would have committed suicide.

I thought I'd be impressed by the stadium but it was tiny and **** and as you say their fans were predictable and boring.

What I don't get about the game is that it was very difficult to get tickets, Kop1te couldn't with 7 or 8 away games on his card. Given that it was 'popular' for Southerners due to its location, I'm amazed that loads of people who almost certainly weren't season ticket holders were there. (I got my tickets from the Wurzel supporters club)

I still can't blame the families though for the lack of singing - there were enough 'regulars' there, I just think they were bored and/or too busy berating our team when it went 1-1 :whatever: We've got loads of nothing games coming up - expect more of the same.

                do you really think that???

id say its actually a little more complex than that but i get your point

my point was that suppressing racist chanting at football isnt really much of a triumph in the overall battle against racism and racists and its naive and ignorant to think that it represents a "stamping out" of racism

the row then continued in front of the steward where the neanderthal appealed "but you're f***ing white aren't ya?!"

                  the steward did NOTHING.
Respect to you. I wish more of our fans were like you. I thought we had a history of sorting out dickheads who were behaving in a way that did not befit our great reputation?

FTR I'm kinda an 'ethnic' fan, and the only thing that stops me going to games is $$$

Like people have said, there's always a minority of dickheads wherever you go, even if that's just walking down the street.

Wouldn't stop me leaving the house, wouldn't stop me going to a game. Just wish the same could be said of my bank account
Your bank account has stopped going to games?

They will not be thrown out if you report it. I had this conversation with Chris(TheGlove) some time back in the KT days over an incident that I got involved in, in the main stand. If the stewards do not actually see and hear it, then they can do nothing about it.
I hate to be sceptical, but it has to be asked - will they ever throw out loyal local season ticket holders for such behaviour? If they know them and the people compaining are OOTers? I'm hoping for a reassuring reply..
