    Let the nightmare unfold....

...before our eyes - or perhaps the ultimate feeling of football heaven.

I've a feeling this is either going to end up as one of our greatest ever and most satisfying of finishes to a season or end up as the ultimate nightmare - and we know what that would be. My heart has started an irregular beat already with the 'possibilities' that may unfold, because i just know there is not going to be any grey finish to our season - it's going to be a black or white finish - joy or utter despair.

I can't cope with the stress.

There is an upside. If we lose to Chelsea...at least we don't have the prospect of Utd beating us in the final for the Treble. There is also the possibility that we beat Chelsea and Bayern / Milan beat Utd.

I am worried about the possibility of playing Manure in the final, losing would be too much to take.

Chelsea will be tough in the Semi (assuming we get past PSV) and they will be out for revenge.

      Tough very very tough

I feel as nervous as you, mate, but we just have to see how it unfolds. I suppose it's nice to feel like this so close to the end of the season. It keeps us on our toes.

It's better having games like this to look forward to than being like Newcastle, Everton, Bolton, Spurs etc... and have nothing to play for.

best case, realistic, scenario for me =
          scum win f.a
          chelsea win league
          we win champions league.
          How likely is that?!

I'm not nervous to be honest. I'm more worried about the possibility of a Liverpool Manure final because of the likelihood of trouble. If we lose to Chelsea then we aren't good enough. Hopefully we'll get past PSV smack Chelsea and play Bayern in the final. At least we're in the mix again. The future is rosy for us...just as long as Manure aren't in it.

Haha, just been saying exactly the same in another thread.

Football has never been so stressful. This is serious stuff and I can physically feel it taking over my life. It's starting now and it will go on until the competition ends for us.

My heart is going like the clappers as I type and my gut is doing somersaults. More rusty arse piss beckons...

Kinell mate. They've got to go out.

And this has got nothing to do with football, if we play them in the final it'll be a battlefield amoung the fans out there. I'm not even going to consider the consequences.

I think the prospect of facing an English club in the semi's and the final of a European cup, is a pile of **** myself. We play them often enough through the season, would have much rather played Valencia in the Semi's because they offer something different, instead we'll get another snooze fest against Chelsea.

It would be ****ing mindblowingly amazing, but on the other hand the low, the ****ing despair would be suicidally depressing if they beat us. I could just see them poxing the flukiest ****ing win imaginable. Ring any bells?

I'd rather not take the ****ing risk and I'll be praying Bayern (or Milan) batter 'em.
