Djib Cisse..............A good option to have, if he comes back, il still support him because hez a lfc player.

Ok he may be **** half the time but i still think hez a threat. We wont get a high transfer for him, possibly only 3-4million max from spurs. So i would say its worth a gamble keeping him, he will score goals.

He may be struggling for form in the french league but he has just come back from a serious injury (he aint a robot), so he aint going to score goals straight away.

Bolton to move for Liverpool striker Cisse
        tribalfooball.com - April 12, 2007

Bolton Wanderers are being linked with Liverpool striker Djbril Cisse.

Cisse has spent this season on-loan with Olympique Marseille, but hasn't done enough to convince management to make his deal permanent.

L'Equipe says Cisse would prefer to continue his career in England and Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is weighing up a bid for the France international.

and this is how they will pay for him....

Juventus plan offer for Bolton striker Anelka
        tribalfooball.com - April 12, 2007

Bolton Wanderers striker Nicolas Anelka is in the sights of Juventus.

L'Equipe says Juve coach Didier Deschamps has rated Anelka since his days at Arsenal and is convinced he can do a job in Serie A after reviving his career at Bolton this season.

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce may consider selling the Frenchman at £10 million.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

What on earth were Rafa's scouts at Valencia on when they said that signing Cisse would almost guarantee them the league for the next 5 seasons (or something to that effect).

I think Cisse is a good guy and getting LFC tattooed on himself just shows how commited he was to us. I really hope that it works out for him and that we can get a decent bit of dosh, although I would hate him to go there Bolton might not be the worst destination for him.

i'd like to see a stat comparing assists given by both

i'd be shocked if that did'nt make Bellamy more effective overall, but yes, probably not good enough

Rafa has worked with nine strikers since he arrived at the club. There's a fair amount of talent in that lot. But do you think he has managed to coax the best out of a single one of them ?

Personally, I dont think Rafa has a ****ing clue about buying, selling, man-managing, coaching or developing strikers.
You do say some ludicrous things.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I would be quite happy to see him go to Bolton. I like the guy and I think that Aladyce is good at geeting the most out of limited players.
I can see why Cisse has found it hard to get back to any sort of form after two broken legs and the dissapointment of having to return to France. I predict wherever he goes next year he will have a much better season.

                    Who's laughing now?

He's now our top goalscorer by a mile, will finish the season with more than 20 goals, has almost doubled his transfer value and is sitting 2nd in a glittering list of names at the top of the CL goalscorers chart.

I think Rafa's done pretty well with this particular striker.
