Would it be a mistake to sell Flo?

If you look at Henry's career before Arsenal, nobody could have predicted the player he would become. He was incredibly talented and he was also regarded as a "wonderkid" when he joined Monaco, but in his first 157 games (Monaco and Juventus) he managed 31 goals. He joined Arsenal at 22 and has gone on to become one of the greatest strikers of the past decade. His record is incredible 226 goals in 364 games. In the league it's even more impressive 174 goals and 77 assists in 254 games so he has either set up or scored 251 goals in 254 games.

Flo is 22 now, he is having a great season in Spain and he is still ours. Recreativo were favourites for relegation this season, but are 7th in the table and Flo has scored 25% of their league goals. There is now talk of him being sold for around £3m, surely that's a waste.

I'm not saying he will become another Henry, but he is a talented youngster with an eye for goal, and I can't help thinking that to sell him now would be a great opportunity lost.

he never got the chance he deserved. If Ged had played him from the start I reckon we would have quite a player on our hands. He's done well in Spain but he's not set the world alight. If we got decent money then I would take him. Before we got G&H I would have said keep him, however, now we should be operating in a different market.

Problem with us is we tend to be a little biased. Pongo scored one goal which was of huge significance to this club (+ one or two others) however I don't think he is, or more to the point, will be anywhere near the standard we/Rafa now require. Ditto Fowler et al.

Pongolle was treated poorly at LFC and deserves the chance to play some football, score goals and enjoy himself out in Spain.

I think he's a talented young lad, but if we can get 3-5m for the lad I think it's in everyone's interests to sell.

I would felt badly treated if I was him. He did just as much, along with Josemi and Antonio Nunez in bringing back number 5. How come they got medals and stuff?

I would sell him. He is better than Bellamy IMO but both of them isn't good enough if we have the ambition to win the league.

We need a striker like Eto'o, Villa, Huntelaar, Klose or Owen.

I really like Flo, but in this light IMHO he does not have half the attributes Henry has.

I´d take 4m in a heartbeat.
