I hope that the team take this reasonably seriously, chucking away league points against teams we really should beat is not a recipe for success.

      Mentality and all that

I've got a ticket for this one from my mate who's a Citeh fan. Normally if I get a ticket for this fixture, I'm in the Citeh end with Blues now he's int he Liverpool end with the Red fans, should be funny watching him keep his mouth shut for a change. A mate from work told me to go into the Waldolf as they have a room up stairs, don't think I will though as I don't think I'd get a good reception. Don't go in Mary D's Shaggy that is a proper Citeh pub, not been in the Bradford but it looks a bit of a ****hole by all accounts.

What a top gesture from Manchester City.

Ceremonial flags at half mast for tomorrow's game

For tomorrow's game our flags will be lowered to half-mast as a sign of respect for the fans and families of Liverpool Football Club, who lost their lives in the Hillsborough Disaster on the 15th of April 1989.

Chairman John Wardle will be laying a wreath in the memorial garden tomorrow afternoon.

Oh, we have a league match tomorrow, how quaint.

Err, we'll win, then go home, eat some food and erm, that's about it folks.

Crouchinho to start today and keep scoring? Think Pennant will start too given recent performances and Stevie and Carra will be back too. Arbeloa should start I reckon, he's been on top form and Masher in the middle too.

I'm going for a 2-0 win for us Crouch and Kuyt with the goals

Not much to say is there? Except maybe that we are going to see the battle between the new Didi Hamann, Javier Mascherano, and the old Didi Hamann, erm, Didi Hamann.

My son Foster is a fan of soccer. He was a goaltender. His brother was a defenseman.

that's be enough to put you to sleep wouldn't it, I'd rather go xabi and stevie in the middle, and just attack them

I always enjoy watching Stevie put Joey 'I should play for England' Barton in his place.

Given Man Citys lack of goal threat I think we could and should play an attacking team with Gonzalez Pennant Stevie and Macherano in the middle.
