I want Milan LFC final

Not becuase satisfaction of beating Milan for the second time or the delight we'll get if we play the dream final Manu LFC and beat them. Quite simply, becuase I dont think we can beat Manu in the final.

Our record against Manu has been awful, inparticular with cup competitions.

Anyone else feel like this?

Your right there though, ive seen that written before and i think to myself oh its just a "we are liverpool with many cups blah blah blah" but now i can sit her read what you just wrote and firmly agree, a great feeling to in doing so.

We've beaten United in the last three 'one-off' games we've played against them:

2001 Charity Shield
2003 Worthington Cup Final
2006 FA Cup 4th Round

I'm optimistic we can beat them in this year's final (although I'd much rather be playing Milan).

Unfortunately I agree, not because I think they are a better side or that they will play us off the park because I don't.
In Fact I think the opposite I think we would beat them in every area of the game except one the score line.
Also I think the mayhem and trouble that will no doubt take place worries me.

Milan's average age = 30.8 years , LFC's = 26.1 years. We've got youth and experience of palying them (and winning) in our side. Theya re ageing togtehr and have tasted defeat from the jaws of victory at our hands. We're a better side than in 2005. They're not. Physically and psychologically we'd have the edge.

I think we'd beat Milan we have the players and the confidence.
I also think we are capable of beating the Mancs but worry about their luck and the way it always works for them.
Anyway we still have Chelski to contend with.

I disagree mate. I wouldn't play Momo in a final against Milan. Giving the ball away repeatedly to clever players such as Kaka and Pirlo would be suicidal.
