Franck Ribery anyone?

Yeah he's always played out wide for them this season although he was always a CM before. I agree with you, I think he's a quality player, not as soft as he looks, great feet and a good eye for a pass. He's a cheating little **** mind.

Most foreign players are, being honest we are too honest a team mate, i read a article about it the other month i ment to repliate something like it on here, it was in the times by some bald fella, i tried to find it but couldnt, ill try and right something like it.

I saw him play for Rangers a lot, and he was out of his depth in the SPL... says it all. Too lightweight.

I know everyone will claim it "doesn't matter", but watching Ribery either live or on the tele would be pretty painful for the eyes, he really is *that* ugly.

I can deal with unattractive fellas, Kuyt, Fowler, Riise, Crouch etc, but Ribery is in a league all by himself in the looks department. I know it's not his fault and all that jazz, but given the choice I would prefer someone better looking.

It's a genuine concern.

Incredibly ugly man, but yes, for anything around the 15m mark I would go for him.

Pace, trickery a steady stream of assists and goals and some genuine talent on the left flank.

He was in a near fatal car crash when he was younger. His apparance in some respects is a result of the injuries he suffered.

I am not 100% sure it was him he was bald, it was v good article though i have looked for it a few times.

Look at his goals to game ratio throughout his career.

And having seen him play a few times he doesn't create much either. Poor final ball, inconsistent and lightweight. He has good technique and is flash with the tricks but that doen't make him effective, does it?

Massively overrated player.

By the way I was at Hampden last year to see him play against Scotland for France. It was physical, and the tempo was a 100 miles a minute - similar to the Premiership style of play. He struggled badly.

He played all his games last season at CM. Yes, he's been used out wide this season, but he's no winger. I give credit when credit's due - and he's been better this season - but he's still sh*te and overrated imho.
