Liverpool Football Club today confirmed that it is likely to launch a TV channel in the UK later this year.
The club already produces a weekly 3-hour TV show which is broadcast in 47 different countries outside of the UK.

Rick Parry, Liverpool Chief Executive, commented: "We are very excited about the prospect of the Club channel which could be a great addition to the coverage that we already provide for our supporters through our website, mobile services and print media.

"We would like to be able to say more to fans at this stage as to how they will be able to get the new channel but, at the moment, discussions with broadcasters are ongoing and there are a number of details still to be worked out. As soon as we are in a position to release further details, we will do so."

I wonder if they will combine the cost of the TV station and the eseason ticket?

It would be a good idea to make the channel available on the net for something like £5/month.

I think most of us would pay that.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Are you from the Liverpool area?
But yes, you should go for it anyway, sounds like a dream job.

'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

im sure Sky will have it as part of their digital package. That would mean I would be able to get it in the republic of Ireland.

Can't see it mate. Hicks wants to go big in S america where he owns the broadcasting rights for Fox I think. I can see us making a few more S American purchases to add to the Brazilian , the Chiliean and the 4 argies that we will have next season and then making a big push over there marketing wise.
