    Billy Sharp

according to a poster on 6CM we have agreed a £2m deal to sign Billy Sharp from sCuntthorpe.

I have never seen the lad play. But as has been said over there, he has that old school footballers name.

anyone over here have any opinions on him?

As I said in that very thread, he scored two again this weekend taking his tally to 28.

I'd love to us to take a chance on him at that price. No pressure or anything, but he could be the modern-day Ian Rush
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

That name would really suit the number 9 shirt, surely vacated by Fowler this summer.

Certainly worth a chance at £2 million if we dont get him im 100% sure somone else will sign him this summer!!

Would be nice to see that we have scouts round the lower leagues as well not just abroad!!

Another Razor in the ranks as well so long as Sharp doesnt play like Ruddock!!
        El Nino!!

There was a thread on here a few weeks ago where I was talking to some fella who seemed to know a lot about him and Scunthorpe. Interesting one.

My son Foster is a fan of soccer. He was a goaltender. His brother was a defenseman.

Lads, this lad can make it in the big time, he really can.
I'm a Scunny lad, so I get to see a lot of him. Last season I saw him save the club from relegation on his own, and this year I've seen him drag them up to the Championship.

I think he has got what it takes to make it in the Premiership, he is a brilliant striker, he knows where the goal is and his goal record speaks for itself, especially at a relatively young age. He is also very good at linking play, and setting up others, or creating chances for the team.

It would also see my signed Sharp shirt raise in value, and become even more priceless.

He worked out for me alright on FM07 - him and Ray Jones from QPR - we should get him as well.
                  * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

sounds like he is really talented.

Just watched a youtube compilation, and he definately knows where the goals are.
