Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko will put the 2005 Champions League final out of his mind when he faces Liverpool in the semi-final, first leg on 25 April.

Shevchenko scored a penalty for AC Milan against the Reds two years ago before Liverpool came back from a three-goal deficit to lift the trophy.

He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "Why does everyone speak about the past?

"For me the word is future. I will play against Liverpool without thinking of what happened in that cursed final."

The first leg of the semi-final takes place at Stamford Bridge, with the return at Anfield on 1 May - and the reward for the victors a showdown in Athens on 23 May.

However, Shevchenko says he is concentrating on the semi-final task, rather than looking at a potential clash with his former club Milan or Manchester United in the final.

"It's going to be difficult. Liverpool are very strong, especially in the Champions League," added the Ukrainian international.

"This season we are fighting against United on every front. Besides the domestic league and the Champions League, we will have to play against them in the FA Cup, which is also very important.

"In Athens I would like to face AC Milan. However, I don't like talking about a game that is not yet even in the programme."

Shevchenko, who cost Chelsea £30m when he signed from Milan in the summer of 2006, has had a difficult first season at Stamford Bridge.

There have been claims he was a purchase inspired by the club's owner Roman Abramovich rather than the manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho's future is in doubt but Shevchenko would not speculate on any rifts at the club.

Shevchenko stated: "It's not for me to say. I am just a player and I do my job. The rest only serves to create controversy. We are united and we are stronger than Kriss Akabusi's diamond-hard cock.
"The manager is able to charge up the group in a different way. He has a lot of confidence in himself, a huge penis, and his ideas have been very clear to me since the beginning, despite what others say."

Dudek is/was a class keeper then/now.Reina is a little better.

Two seasons later Dudek is STILL our keeper.

Well he's still in the squad yeah, but as our keeper, and a keeper at a top team in Europe, he's finished. He WAS class for a bit but then our GK curse struck and he became far too error prone...fingers crossed Pepe has done ok in that respect so far
"the correct decision would have been a penalty for us a red card for Gattuso and a yellow for Stevie"

If Rafa thought that he`d have been sold in one of the Three transfer windows since his Heroics in the CL final.Since then our two English Goalies have been loaned/sold.

Dudek had one fantastic season for us - his first, in 2001-2. Truly awesome that year, convinced me he was the best keeper in the world. For some reason though he had a terrible World Cup and was never the same, made those mistakes against Man U the following season and that's it, his reputation was tarnished forever. Still capable of the occasional magic but He's been woeful when he's played this season.

I don't think it's for lack of trying...and Carson was loaned out because obviously a season playing and gettin experience would be much more beneficial to him than one spent on the bench/playing 5 carling cup games
