Might have been done before but what are, not in terms of importance(ie Garcia vs chavs) although that can and does count to a degree, the five greatest goals ever scored at Anfield. In no particular order:

Gerrard: vs Olympiakos 2005
McDermott: vs Spurs 1978/79
Dalglish: vs Wales 1978
Souness: vs Scum 1978
Cormack: Backheader vs Crystal Palace 1973 or 74.

Long range screamers aren't necessarily the best goals, but they look ****ing good and Gerrard's screamers v United and Southampton deserve a mention, as does Riise's howitzer against the Scum.

When you talk about great goals the level of importance does come into it an awful lot doesn't it? Beardsley scored some amazing goals but a lot tended to be after the game was won. Gerrard's vs scum WAS a ****ing screamer !!

Can't remember if it was at Anfield, but Barnes against Everton, when he curled it into the top corner. I think it was in '88 or '89.
